Types of Reviews


This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.


At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

I found Precision on Google. Called them on Saturday morning and they arrived 2 hours later. The work was done quickly and efficiently. Turns out that it was more than a broken spring so cost a lot more than I expected, however it was a very old door and now works better (quieter) than before. May or may not be the cheapest, but you can't beat the service!

I came home at 8:15 PM to a broken door. I called Precision and they said they would be there between 9 & 11. They were there before 9, and in 45 minutes had my door better than new. They replaced the coil, reset the door, and even sprayed all the hinges so my door is more quiet. My tech was very professional and very nice. I am so pleased and recommend them without hesitation.

Great installation service, except the new doors were installed with obsured glass when I ordered clear, which the Northwest Doors Heritage Classic brochure says is standard. Looking to have Precision Doors replace the glass.

Rick was prompt and professional. He was clear in explaining the issue and worked thoroughly to replace my garage door rollers and gears that were stripped. Same day service and on a Sunday after 7pm. If all is working perfect a few years from now then the cost will be well worth it and I would rate 5 stars.

I would like to start this POSITIVE review of Precision’s work by talking about my personal situation. You see, as home owners, we all try to find the best service and best products at the lowest prices possible. In my case that was even more important because I am unemployed with very little to no reserves to live on. In addition, days before the repairs were needed, I was mugged at gun-point and my car keys were stolen; so having a working garage door to secure my car was imperative and urgent. When my garage door opener repairs quickly escalated from adjusting a minor sensor to having to replace the entire motor; Precision stepped up to the plate to assist. Their Call Center Specialists (Carry Ann and Shannon) were able to manage my distress calls timely and professionally. They quickly sensed the urgency of my tone and escalated appropriately. The Precisions Field Technicians (Matt, Paulino, and specially David) were quick to attend to the dispatched calls to evaluate/fix all identified problems. David in particular displayed a mastery of his craft and excellence in customer service. He took ownership of the problem and reassured me that all was going to be OK. After about 2 hours of working on a Saturday evening, David finished the work, tested all installed parts, and took the extra steps so that I understood everything that I needed to know about maintaining the unit and all related parts in good condition. David was a gift sent from up above… a magician! This review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning Michael, the Regional Director for Precision. Michael was very patient and very understanding of my situation and was able to accommodate my budgetary needs. I will forever be thankful Michael. I truly appreciate your generosity. For all of this, I will forever be thankful to the Precision team… they were a blessing!

Kevin was my service technician. He did a great job & was very professional & helpful. He replaced our opener & springs & did a torsion overhaul. Our new garage door opener is so nice & quiet. Its obvious the door is working properly now. My only complaint was with the appointment scheduling. Kevin was given different time ranges than I was & the change was not communicated to me. Wish that would have been handled better.

The gentleman that came to do the assessment of my damaged garage door was helpful. I like that they came for estimate within 2 hours of call. The work was done on same visit in about an hour. The tech was on time and polite. The problem I had he stated the spring was 169 dollars plus the service call. When the bill was presented after approximately 45 minutes at my home he stated I needed two springs and charged me 338 dollars just for the springs. Two was never mentioned until I received the bill.I appreciated the punctuality of the company. Future garage door work will be shopped with other businesses.

I'm so thankful for Precision Door Service. My garage door opener was making a horrible noise and wasn't able to open the garage door. I called for service at 5:oo pm and was pleasanlty surprised that I was able to make an appointment for the same day. After speaking with the operator, I received an email from Precision showing pictures and informatoin about the different technicians that may be showing up at my door. The technician, Matt, arrived at 7:30 pm. He was friendly and explained the problem to me quickly. We decieded it would be best to replace the garage door opener. I called Precision at 9 am Sat morning.They said a tech would be out between 12 and 2pm.Andy arrived around 12:30pm.I showed him what was wrong with the door{broken torsion spring)and he told me of a couple options I had.He ended up rebuilding the garage door{rollers,cables,broken hinges and etc.) He did a great job and only took about 1-1/2 hours.If I have problems again they will be the first ones I call.

It was a Friday night at 8:30 and one of our workmen completely messed up our garage door. It was stuck halfway down, crooked and the guides were bent. I figured it would be days to get anyone out to fix or we would have to replace it. I went on line and contacted Precision. A technician was at house at 9:00 and the door was fixed by 10:00. He was very efficient and did a great job!
