Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.

Types of Reviews


This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.


At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

I found your advertisement in the yellow pages and it was the best choice I could have made. Doug was very polite, told me my options so it was easy to understand and make the best decision for me and finished the work in record time. Polite and professional service from the operators on the phone to the service tech that came out. I received a follow up call to making my appointment, to ensure they understood the problem correctly. Received same day service ht was professional and polite. Doug quickly diagnosed the problem i had and corrected as well as tested a few other issues with the door, and made me aware of them. I will defiantly be contacting them in the future for my garage door. They are also a military friendly company giving me a military discount. Thank you Mike and Doug.

I think the $150.00 charge for a less than 15 minute work is too much.After refusing for a work warranty, I got 90 days after I insisted.
I do appreciate the technician being respectful and punctual. He actually arrived 45 min. before the appointment time. As far as the work quality, I would not know that after the 90 days warranty is over.

The technician was very nice and did a good job trouble shooting the issue with our garage door. Precision also gave me the comfort of moving forward with the fix as they stated they would credit us the money back if indeed the work done did not 100% fix our problem. Our garage door's spring broke early evening Friday and the repair outfits I called were charging an arm and a leg for emergency. In desperation I went online and clicked on Precision, which incidentally was at the top of the list. I got a very reasonable quote and the technician, Phuong Nguyen,did a quick and excellent job. Despite the late hour, he took the time to explain my options and what each would cost.

I woke up this morning to find out that my garage door wouldn't open. It was a broken spring. I called Precision Door Service at 6:30 in the morning and was told that a technician would be out between 8-10am. I was so impressed to find out that I could look up the technician that was assigned to the job and not only see his picture but also read about his background on their website. Andy showed up right around 8am. He replaced the springs only to find that the motor needed to be replaced as well. He explained the options we had and it was great to know that he had all the parts necessary regardless of what we decided on. He did the work quickly and efficiently. He was very friendly and cleaned up after himself. I would recommend Precision for any garage door need. I would surely use them again and refer everyone/anyone to them. In April Dwayne and Andy worked on repairing my garage door.
