Types of Reviews


This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.


At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

I just had my garage door repaired, Precision garage door repair sent out a repair man by the name of Doug. Doug did a fantastic job. It took Doug 10 minutes to inform me what the problem was with my garage door, He performed all of the adjustments and the reprogramming and the garage works perfect. I will be recommending precision garage door repair to all of my friends and I will tell them to please ask for Doug.

The service technician could not tell immediately what the problem was but provided me with two options; one was to check the capacitor, and replace the emergency cord. The other option was of fully replacing the garage opener and rod which was much more expensive.

Appointment time was stated as 12:00 to 2:00 on Saturday afternoon. Technician arrived at 12:00. Work was done quickly and to satisfaction. Only complaint was that the credit card reader was not functioning properly and time to pay my bill took longer than anticipated.

Jeff was professional and courteous. What I thought was only a disconnect in the door cable ended up being a bit more. He did not hard sell me but outlined areas that the original "kit" was deficient in terms of quality. I changed all springs on my 2 garage doors, the wiring, reinforced connections between garage and opener, replace platic rollers with metal. Very pleased with Jeff, the work and availability to fix. Highly recommend this company.

I found myself trapped by a broken spring about 6:30 this evening. I located Precision's ad in the yellow pages and, by 6:50, had a promise of service between 7:00 and 9:00. The technician (Matt) showed up about 7:15, explained my options, did a major overhaul of my hardware, and was on his way before 9:00. It would be unrealistic to ask for any better response.

For advertising feedback: I checked your BBB rating (it is on your ad), were local, any complaints I could find, plus if you had weekend hours.

For the service: David was very good, friendly and professional. He did a great job on the door, right down to adjusting the closed position to where it was in its original state. Work was done quickly with no left over mess or any issues. He even arrived within the appointed time window and completed the work within his estimated time. Good job!

I was very impressed with the quality and service of Precision. I called at 2:30 in the afternoon because I was having difficulty with my garage door opener and they sent out a technician that day at 4:00. He did not try to sell me anything I did not need but showed me how the rollers on the garage door were wearing out. He was extremely professional and changed the rollers in less than 30 minutes.
