Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.

Types of Reviews


This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.


At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

Precision Garage did a great job fixing one of our Garage doors that was not working properly. The appointment process was easy, they were able to send the technition 2 hrs later and all the parts they needed were on the Truck. Sam the technition was very friendly and capable the the door was fixed in short order.

I called at 5:30pm and was able to get appointment for the same evening. Rick arrived within the time frame quoted and very quickly figured out the problem and fixed it. I was very pleased with his professionalism. My only complaint is that I was told there was a $49.95 service charge for the visit and if parts were needed, the labor would be included in the price - so far so good. However, my problem did not require parts and it took Rick about 30 minutes to fix the problem, so I thought the $49.95 would cover the labor charge, but it did not. I would have liked the office to explain at the time I called that the labor for any work would cost above and beyond the $49.95 even if I did not need parts. That being said, I was pleased with the actual service and would use Precision Doors again.

I selected Precision Door Service because of the great service and wonderful product. My Tech. Matt S. was prompt, very friendly and extremely competent. He showed me a number of doors/openers and I selected the one that was perfect for me. He installed both door and opener in a timely manner, leaving no mess behind.

On Sunday morning 26Jun we returned home to find a garage door that would not open. A quick inspection revealed a broken spring. Within 2 1/2 hours a technician had arrived, replaced both springs and installed new wheels. What a relief to find excellent service on a Sunday completed in a timely manner without any hassle.

Just want to say what a professional repair experience I just had with Rick. He showed up right at the appointed time and despite having to work in a very confined garage space, he went about the job without a complaint. He knew exactly what had to be done and did it, even correcting a deficiency from the previous work by another outfit. The broken spring was fixed in less than 60 minutes and the door back in operation without a hitch. Definitely recommend Precision.

I was very impressed with the quality and service of Precision. I called at 2:30 in the afternoon because I was having difficulty with my garage door opener and they sent out a technician that day at 4:00. He did not try to sell me anything I did not need but showed me how the rollers on the garage door were wearing out. He was extremely professional and changed the rollers in less than 30 minutes. I would not hesitate to contact Precision if and when I have other garage door needs

In April Dwayne and Andy worked on repairing my garage door. This was the first time that I had to replace torsion springs for my garage door. We are very happy with the installation of garage door openers and repairs made on our 2 garage doors. The technician was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The only recommendation that I would like to make is that staff make courtesy calls to customers letting them know if and when the techs would arrive. We had to make 2 follow up phone calls and as a result we scheduled the appt. for the following day as the tech was already 2 hours late, which was fine, but a phone call earlier would have saved time and waiting for us.

Since we do not give the phone numbers to techs, we have implemented full GPS capabilites so we can track our techs and their estimated time of arrivals. We call if we cannot make the scheduled 2 hour windows.
