"We could not be more satisfied with Precision Garage Door Service. We had a broken spring and our garage door could not be opened at all. We called them at 7pm on a Friday night. I did not even think they would pick up the phone. Imagine my surprise when, not only did I get a nice, live person on the line, but they said they could have someone come out to our house that same night. The technician Doug Bookhammer showed up right at 9pm as he promised. He was friendly, helpful, and above all competent. He really knows his garage doors, and seemed to have an honest passion for the job. He replaced what we needed (springs and rollers) but did not try and have us replace items that were OK (such as cables). It was a tough job but, by midnight, it was done successfully. We were delighted. Only minor issue is that the garage door opener needed to be re-set. We have a Linear brand model which works well but is not the standard Liftmaster brand. Doug was not experienced with setting the Precision openers and with our model and so was not able to help with re-setting it. But I was able to get the manual from the internet and figure it out myself the next morning. All in all I'd wholeheartedly recommend Precision and Doug. If we have any future problem with our door Precision will get our call and our business."

"We were dismayed to find our garage door would not open this morning (on a Saturday). I picked Precision out of the Yellow Pages and could not have been happier with their response and work. The serviceman was able to be at our home within 2 hours of my call and replaced the broken spring; did maintenance/balance work on the affected door and our other garage door; I was able to purchase an additional garage door opener that we had been needing; and he also was able to install an exterior opener that we had wanted for years, but had never gotten around to. Precision's response and service surpassed my expectations and saved us considerable inconvenience. Thanks!!"

"You guys are the only ones I have found that respond. The others call you back and set up an appointment for days or weeks away. My garage door always breaks on weekends, or holidays, so it's good to have someone that can respond."

"Polite and professional service from the operators on the phone to the service tech that came out. I received a follow up call to making my appointment, to ensure they understood the problem correctly. Received same day service ht was professional and polite. Doug quickly diagnosed the problem i had and corrected as well as tested a few other issues with the door, and made me aware of them. "All of a sudden the garage door would only open 6 inches... I called the previous company that had done work for me to learn that they were only open monday- Friday 8-5. Here it was Saturday morning. I went online saw their ad called Emily who answered right away and booked an appointment for me same day in a time window that worked for me. Doug was great saw the problem right away, fixed it, showed me a potential problem in the bearings that we fixed too as preventive maintenance and was done in under an hour...the door is perfect again...high recommendation here!!!"

"It was more than a broken spring; the technician gave me an estimate and would be able to fix immediately, which was tempting. However, the owner wanted mpore than one estimate using what was said to be needed. We found one $300 lower and another even lower than that; both with full warranties using all new parts. "Jeff was professional and courteous. What I thought was only a disconnect in the door cable ended up being a bit more. He did not hard sell me but outlined areas that the original "kit" was deficient in terms of quality. I changed all springs on my 2 garage doors, the wiring, reinforced connections between garage and opener, replace platic rollers with metal. Very pleased with Jeff, the work and availability to fix.
