"The tech was on time and polite. The problem I had he stated the spring was 169 dollars plus the service call. When the bill was presented after approximately 45 minutes at my home he stated I needed two springs and charged me 338 dollars just for the springs. Two was never mentioned until I received the bill.I appreciated the punctuality of the company. Future garage door work will be shopped with other businesses."

"I'm so thankful for Precision Door Service. My garage door opener was making a horrible noise and wasn't able to open the garage door. I called for service at 5:oo pm and was pleasanlty surprised that I was able to make an appointment for the same day. After speaking with the operator, I received an email from Precision showing pictures and informatoin about the different technicians that may be showing up at my door. The technician, Matt, arrived at 7:30 pm. He was friendly and explained the problem to me quickly. We decieded it would be best to replace the garage door opener. He completed the work quickly and efficiently. I'm definitely going to refer friends and family to Precision! Thank you for your great service!"

"The service provided was fine. My complaint is about the cost. Yes, I didn't have to have the service performed, but I needed to have the door fixed and it was too late to call anyone else. The cost was over $400 for a spring adjustment and lubrication, plus putting in a new button to open the door ($125). For the time spent (less than 30 minutes), this is excessive. I won't use your service again."

I needed emergency service, right before Christmas, in the evening, which was promptly scheduled at no extra cost. The woman who answered the phone confirmed what I read on the Internet - 24/7 service, no problem at all. The technician David arrived within one hour of my call for help. The Precision truck appeared fully equipted which gave me confidence my job would be done in one trip. David was professional, experienced, and quickly resolved my garage door problem. "I called Precision at 9 am Sat morning.They said a tech would be out between 12 and 2pm.Andy arrived around 12:30pm.I showed him what was wrong with the door{broken torsion spring)and he told me of a couple options I had.He ended up rebuilding the garage door{rollers,cables,broken hinges and etc.) He did a great job and only took about 1-1/2 hours.If I have problems again they will be the first ones I call."

"It was a Friday night at 8:30 and one of our workmen completely messed up our garage door. It was stuck halfway down, crooked and the guides were bent. I figured it would be days to get anyone out to fix or we would have to replace it. I went on line and contacted Precision. A technician was at house at 9:00 and the door was fixed by 10:00. He was very efficient and did a great job!"

"On a rather stormy Sunday afternoon, when I discovered that one of our garage door springs had broken, I resorted to the "Yellow Pages" for getting it repaired and selected Precision because it had a Los Altos telephone number. I told the person who answered that it wasn't an emergency and that I could wait until Monday, but I was told that someone would be here within an hour and a half. Within an hour, Sam showed up and started to work right away. Since the garage door had been installed about 15 years prior, I decided to have both springs replaced. In a very professional manner, Sam changed the springs, afterward checking that everything else was in good shape and giving me advice regarding future maintenance, so that I would not need to make a repair call for a long time in the future. Sam was very pleasant and performed the work rapidly, and both my wife and I are very satisfied."
